Yantai Minshida Phase II Aramid Paper Project broke ground

In October of the golden autumn, the autumn breeze was dry, and the company's Phase II aramid project project “Phase II project with an annual output of 1,000 tons of aramid paper” broke ground in full. The design capacity of the project is 1,000 tons. All projects are expected to be put into operation at the end of the third quarter of 2015.This project is the enrichment and summary of the company's industrialization experience over the years. At the same time, it will greatly alleviate the existing tight production capacity and short supply of Metastar® aramid paper products.

Metastar® Aramid paper, full name “polyarylamide fiber paper”, is a high-performance composite material made of aramid fiber. It has the characteristics of flame retardant, insulation resistance, high strength, and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in electrical insulation, aerospace and rail transit fields. It is an irreplaceable strategic new material. After more than 5 years of market development and development, Metastar® aramid paper has been used and recognized by more than 200 customers around the world, and the company has become the largest supplier of aramid paper products in China.

The expansion of aramid paper production will further improve the company's ability to guarantee the supply of downstream customers' products, and enhance the company's industry status and comprehensive competitiveness.
